What’s the problem?
HP computing has as much need for component arch’s as common computing does
- Complex and hard to program algorithms, data structures.
- Time-to-market is the consideration (e.g. SSI, ASCI curves).
Currently little reuse of code.
- attempts: PetSc, POET, POOMA
- most HP applications are written from the ground up for a single purpose.
